German-speaking heads of state meet in Belgium - Visit to Eupen planned

The 19th Informal Summit of the Heads of State of the German-speaking countries of Europe will take place in Belgium on 11 and 12 September. From an East Belgian perspective, the main focus will be on the second day of the visit.
The heads of state from Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and, of course, Belgium will be visiting Eupen once again after 2016.
The schedule in the DG includes a visit to the cable factory. The wives of the heads of state visit the Moutarderie in Raeren.
At the invitation of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde, the highest representatives of Germany, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Austria and Switzerland are expected to attend the meeting at Laeken Castle on 11 September. Belgium is hosting the meeting for the second time since 2016.
The first day of the summit will begin at Laeken Castle with a working meeting on the topic of space. The day will conclude with a concert by the Young Belgian Strings and a dinner at Laeken Castle.
